Ltd.], a ride-hailing platform operator in Singapore. “You” refers to any person who uses or interacts with our services, including riders, passengers, drivers, driver-partners, vehicle owners, corporate customers, website visitors, job applicants, vendors, merchants, service providers and other users.

The Fair Trip, operating through www.thefairtrip.com, our mobile application, driver application, rider application, platform, customer support channels and related services, respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data.

This Privacy Policy is intended to comply with the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 of Singapore, as amended from time to time, and other applicable laws and regulations.

15. CCTV, Dashcams and In-Vehicle Recordings

Drivers and passengers must comply with applicable laws and regulatory requirements when using cameras, dashcams, audio recording devices or other recording equipment in vehicles.

Drivers must not record passengers in a manner that breaches applicable law, regulatory requirements or our platform rules. Where in-vehicle recording is used, proper notice and consent may be required.

We may investigate complaints involving unauthorised recording, misuse of personal data, harassment, safety incidents or breaches of platform rules.

16. Third-Party Links and Services

Our website or application may contain links to third-party websites, payment services, maps, promotions or other services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third parties. You should review their privacy policies before providing personal data to them.

17. User Responsibilities

You agree not to misuse personal data obtained through our platform. In particular, you must not:

  • Share another user’s phone number, photo, trip details, address or other personal data without permission;
  • Post another user’s personal data on social media or public platforms;
  • Use personal data for marketing, harassment, solicitation or unrelated purposes;
  • Contact another user after a trip except for legitimate trip-related reasons;
  • Retain another user’s personal data longer than necessary;
  • Record audio or video unlawfully;
  • Access or attempt to access another user’s account.

Breach of these responsibilities may result in account suspension, termination, reporting to authorities or legal action.

18. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our services, legal requirements, business operations or data protection practices.
